It's no good for the chest, but ah, after the show. Anyway, thanks for coming back. I'm sorry about the last time, but I was on me back in Chicago. It was quite pleasant though nevertheless, but tonight we intend to um, we intend to cut across the spectrum of what you might call musical color that we've been able to get together in six and ahalf years. Slice right through it. Take things from every album, and at the same time get off. This is the first thing. It's not very old, but it tells a song immortal.

Since ah, that little ailment that I had, this has developed into the last gig of this part of the tour. So, and we come a long way so, it's got to be really really good. Without you becoming too ecstatic we're gonna give you some new stuff that you probably haven't even heard from the um, full of suprises tonight, you see? There's an album called Physical Grafitti that comes out ah, it comes out soon. This is a track from it.

I think after that one should say amen. Now, it's no good shouting for a drumstick. We've got hours to do yet. Right, now where were we? So in between ah, Kansas City, do you know Kansas City? Yeah? Our friend Mr. Bonham got arrested there about four years ago. Remember that John? The jail? Fantastic. So we, since we left Kansas and St. Louis, and places like that ages ago, we've travelled right round the world. Shut up. It's been a great pleasure to do that, and during those journeys we've had lots of experiences, which we won't really go into right now, but all sorts of experiences, which lead us to find that people of different races, creeds, from Missouri, from Worcestershire, whatever. The Song Remains the Same.

We shant be too long. All we got to do is to get the roadies to get it together. So I'm gonna keep on telling you about it. So all these people who don't speak the same languages, and all that sort of thing. You begin to lose communication by words alone, and you find that there's still a communication without, what's? Oh, thank you. Without words, just expressions and vibes and that is how the song came about, and now all we need is the guitar to go with the song. At last, ladies and gentlemen, the double necked guitar. Of course the roadies are together in this band.

Thank you very much. Right, just get dressed again. This is a track, another new track off Physical Grafitti, an album with which you will be familliar very shortly. Familiarity is a wonderful thing. This is a track about journey's again. Not quite made it yet through. It's called Kashmir.

In a positive direction. That is the keyboards. At the moment he's having his gin and tonic. This is another track about a journey, we all seem to be ah, ah, conflicted with from time to time. A journey that isn't too good. It's a track called No Quarter.

Piano, John Paul Jones. ah It's starting to cook now. This is ah, take a seat. This is another track, another track that you haven't heard yet. It's ah, it changes the mood somewhat from the last number. It's a track written principally, I'm getting it on, it's written principally about the parts, and the assets of a motor car, but if you can compare the motor car to the human body then you got more of the picture. This is called Trampled Underfoot.

The motor car lives, but only just. This ah, I still ain't got rid of it, this next piece ah, we are proud to say, features one of the finest, one of the finest, one of the finest, the finest, the most fantastic drummer. I said he was one of the best, he's the best. John Bonham. Whoa dear, and I've known him since he was a child. Childhood friends. Childhood friends. It's amazing we walked so far together. Anyway, I'm gonna hop on one foot for a bit. This is um, as we said earlier on we're trying to cut through like a crossection of our music, that ah, that we managed to write together in six and a half years. Does anybody remember 1968? Well, those people without brain dammage can. Thi sis a track that came, this is a track that came together in teh first ten minutes of our, rather immaculate conception.

Dazed and Confused. Jimmy Page guitar. Do I detect people standing on their feet? But you realize, this is Sunday? Well it's coming up to about three hours now since we started. In fact, it's probably just about that, and you might ask how we do it. um We cut right away across the spectrum. We've got one thing that we think um, we really enjoy playing. It was conceived perhaps in a, in a moment of true clear light.
