The band played the Cardiff Top Rank Suite on 4/2/69 (as you have listed). But they did not play the Cardiff "Locarno" on 3/5/69 because they were one in the same club (the venue referred to as the "Locarno" IS the Top Rank Suite).
In the May 10, 1969 issue of New Musical Express, Jimmy Page refers to the Cardiff gig and the problems they had there.
The Cardiff "Locarno" reference could probably be attributed to Robert mentioning the Cardiff Locarno in the 5/24/75 Earl's Court show. He referred to the same type of problems that Jimmy mentioned in the 1969 interview (they weren't let in because they didn't have a tie on).
