The 4/18/69 NYU Jazz Festival was not played. The 4/5/69 issues of both Melody Maker and New Musical Express announced this show. Here's a few announcements of the proposed show:





However the 4/19/69 edition of New Musical Express said that band will open their latest tour at the Fillmore West in San Francisco. Also, Disc & Music Echo magazine said "Led Zeppelin are to leave tomorrow (Friday April 18th) for the USA."

A press release was also issued on 4/18/69 that said the band was to start their US Tour in San Francisco on 4/24/69:

By the way, I didn't realize that "Roger" Plant was the lead singer!
